Prawn has always been a star ingredient in every cuisine across the world. Prawn can be cooked in various ways. Usually the coastal areas are rich with this seafood. Prawn recipe is favorite everywhere with huge demand.
One should always keep the timing and flame in mind while cooking prawn dishes. It should always be cooked in low flame and not more than sixty seconds (1 minute for shrimp and a little more that 2 minutes for tiger prawn or any bigger prawns). Over cooked prawn dishes acquires the texture of a rubber like substance. The texture should be tender and a little bit muddy and pinkish red in color. The perfectly cooked prawn dishes can easily be called divine!!

In the mixer grinder container add soaked mustard seeds, salt and the green chilies. Blend until you get a smooth fine paste. It should be felt smooth between the fingers.
In the same paste add coconut, sugar and turmeric and blend again. Make a smooth paste.
Transfer in a Borosil microwave bowl.
Beat the yogurt till lump free. Add the yogurt into the mustard-coconut paste. Mix well.
Add the prawns with the paste and mix well. The prawns should be well coated with the paste.
Add three table spoon of mustard oil.
Slit two or three green chilies and add into it.
Cover the glass bowl with a plastic wrap.
Place the bowl inside the microwave. Set a timer of 5 minutes to steam the prawns.
Serve it with plain Basmati rice. Bon Appetit.
